Made from New Zealand sauvignon blanc and kiwis! Simple syrup is an ingredient used often in Sangria recipes. It is a mixture of sugar to water in equal parts. Make some in advance; it can be stored in a covered container in your refrigerator for weeks.—Kim Haasarud
