Just a few suggestions. Check your leaveners; it might be time to buy fresh baking soda or powder.  Aerate your flour with a whisk, then measure using a dry ingredient cup. Let your eggs and fats come to room temperature before mixing. After mixing, let the batter rest a bit. And be sure not to overmix the batter. Hope this helps!</description>
