Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a person who likes to make things. She writes books for grown-ups, such as the alphabetized memoir Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life; she writes books for children, such as Little Pea, Spoon, Duck! Rabbit!, and The Wonder Book; she makes interactive films, such as The Beckoning of Lovely; and she creates weekly missions for the universe to play along with via Mission Amy KR, a project in conjunction with Chicago's NPR affiliate.
