Anne E. McBride

Anne McBride is an food writer and author. She and Kathryn Gordon co-authored Les Petits Macarons: Colorful French Confections to Make at Home and she joined forces with Institute of Culinary Education President Rick Smilow to write Culinary Careers: How to Get Your Dream Job in Food. Anne is also an educator. She's a culinary program and editorial director at the Culinary Institute of America, served as the director of ICE’s Center for Food Media between 2008 and 2011, and is the director of the Experimental Cuisine Collective, a group that studies the intersection of food and science. Anne is currently a Ph.D. candidate in food studies at New York University, focussing on the evolution of professional cooking.
