Douglas Rodriguez is a chef, restaurant owner, and godfather of Nuevo Latino cuisine. Rodriguez attended Johnson and Wales and trained at several hotels and restaurants before he opened his first restaurant, Yuca, in Miami. He currently owns D. Rogriguez di Cuba in Miami and Alba di Cuba in Philadelphia. Rodriguez has won a James Beard Award and has appeared as contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. He’s also written four cookbooks, including Latin Flavors on the Grill.
