Katie Caldesi

Painter-turned-restaurateur Katie Caldesi opened Caffe Caldesi with her husband, Giancarlo, in 2002. After their success with the cafe, the pair opened a second restaurant, Caldesi in Campagna, and a cookery school that celebrates the soulful, regional cuisines of Italy where diners can be sure to taste Nonna's cooking, as well. Katie is the author of Cook Italy and lives with her family in the UK.
