About Mai Pham

Mai Pham is the author of The Pleasures of the Vietnamese Table and Flavors of Asia. She's also the chef and owner of Lemon Grass in Sacramento, CA. She came to the U.S. with her family after the fall of Saigon in 1975 and graduated college with a degree in journalism before deciding to pursue her passion for food full-time. Phaj writes extensively about Vietnamese cuisine and has received the Bert Greene Award from the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
