Manuel Azevedo is a Portuguese chef known for his modern interpretation of Portuguese cuisine. He opened LaSalette Restaurant in Sonoma Valley, CA in 1998, serving “cozinha nova portuguesa,” or new Portuguese cuisine. He’s also the author of a cookbook by the same name, LaSalette Cookbook. He recently opened another restaurant, Cafe Lucia, in Healdsburg, CA.
