Norman Van Aken

Norman Van Aken is the chef and owner of the award-winning restaurant NORMAN’S in Orlando. He’s also the author of half a dozen books, including New World Kitchen, My Key West Kitchen, and No Experience Necessary. Known for introducing the concept of “fusion” to the culinary world, he was honored as one of the “Founders of the New American Cuisine” at Spain’s International Summit of Gastronomy 'Madrid Fusiόn' event in 2006. He’s also been inducted into the prestigious James Beard Foundation’s “Who’s Who in Food and Beverage.” Van Aken lives in Miami.
