Marian Burros is a food columnist for The New York Times. She previously served as a food editor for The Washington Post and a consumer reporter for WRC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Washington D.C. She's won several awards, including an Emmy, for her consumer reporting, nutrition education, and food safety coverage. Burros is also the author of nearly a dozen cookbooks, including Keep It Simple and 20-Minute Menus.
