Three decades ago, Roxanne Chan was encouraged to start entering recipe contests by friends who constantly raved about her dinner parties. She's since won more than 940 competitions and received prizes including cookbooks, travel, and cash. She was the winner of the 2006 Leite’s Culinaria Recipe Contest, and her recipes have also appeared in Sunset and Bon Appétit.
