Tal Ronnen is the chef and owner of the popular vegan restaurant Crossroads in Los Angeles. In 2008, he became known nationwide as the chef who prepared vegan meals for Oprah Winfrey's 21-day vegan cleanse. He also catered Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s wedding as well as the first vegan dinner at the U.S. Senate. The Conscious Cook is his first cookbook. Ronnen splits his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
