I absolutely LOVED this drink and it will definitely be my number one drink for this summer! I really enjoy Negronis so this drink was a wonderful twist and the flavor was right up my alley.
It took less than a minute to make. I used Campari, Martini Vermouth Rosso, and a local pink sparkling wine.
It was so delicious!
A lovely Negroni sparkler and very easy to make, whether one or a tray full for guests.
We used a Spanish vermut (Lacuesta Rojo) and a Brut Rosé (De Chanceny Crémant de Loire), which both worked well with the Campari. The drink takes only a moment (except for remembering to chill the bubbly ahead of time) but sips like something you planned with much more care. This is a winner for the Negroni-arsenal and for aperitifs all year round. Very pretty, too! Right size drink for one without being too heady.

The best way I can describe this pink-hued cocktail is as a gorgeous hybrid of a classic Negroni and a Champagne cocktail. With the distinct blood orange, bitter flavor of Campari, the herbal and slightly sweet note of the vermouth, and the dry sparkling wine, the results are quite festive! And serving it over ice gives it a sort of laid-back, casual feel; you can almost picture a room filled with people at a cocktail party walking around with these tasty concoctions!
Easy to make and even easier to drink, this cocktail is perfect any time of year. I can see it being popular around the holidays, at your next birthday gathering, even during the summer at your next pool party. I really enjoyed the Pink sbagliato and will be making it again...and very soon. Cin cin!
