Hi Jenny – I also grew up in Northern Ontario in small towns (the Tri-towns, Kirkland Lake and North Bay) and can totally relate to a limited variety of food choices and very little food diversity while I was growing up I also pursued a food related career and taught high school cooking/nutrition.
