Sara B. Franklin can usually be found writing, multimedia-ing, cooking, gardening, eating, and poring over old cookbooks in Brooklyn or Massachusetts’ Pioneer Valley. She’s contributed to numerous online and print publications, as well as to WNYC’s the Leonard Lopate Show and NPR’s State of the Re: Union, almost all of it related to food in one way or another. She’s currently at work with Brazilian chef and activist Teresa Corção on The Manioc Route, a book blending travel writing, recipes, and Brazilian food history.
