About Victoria James

Victoria James has worked in restaurants since she was ​13 years old and became certified as a sommelier when she was 21. She has worked at some of the most prestigious restaurants in New York City​,​ including Marea and Aureole.​ She’s been featured in Zagat’s “30 Under 30,” Wine Enthusiast’s “40 Under 40,” Forbes’ “10 Innovators Under 30 Shaking Up the New York Food Scene,” ​and ​Wine & Spirits’ “Best New Sommeliers​.”​ She travels ​to ​vineyards around the world and writes about the stories behind the wines.
