The Scandinavians have warmed themselves in winter for more than 200 years with steaming cups of glogg, or mulled wine. This mix of cinnamon, allspice, and cloves makes preparing this libation easy: boil water, add the spices, and simmer for 20 minutes while enjoying the festive scent. Sieve the mixture, then add the wine or cider.
No need to mull this over.
