About Cesar and Nadia Roden

Cesar and Nadia Roden

Cesar Roden is the founder of Ice Kitchen, which is known for its handcrafted ice pops. A street food pioneer, Ice Kitchen launched its carts in London in 2013 and was an instant hit. He has since appeared in the UK’s Evening Standard and The Times. Nadia Roden, Cesar’s aunt, has worked in both the visual and culinary arts. In 2011, she started selling ice pops from a cart in Bryant Park and on the High Line in New York, leading O, The Oprah Magazine to dub her “The Ice Princess.” She has since appeared on The Martha Stewart Show and in Food & Wine and Vogue, among other outlets. Roden also designs textiles, ceramics, and art pieces for the Metropolitan Opera in New York and makes short animated films that have been shown at film festivals worldwide. Ice Pops! is their first cookbook together. @nadia.roden @theicekitchen
