About Jacques Torres

Fondly known as Mr. Chocolate, Jacques Torres is a celebrated pastry chef and chocolatier. In 1986, he became the youngest pastry chef in history to earn the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) medal in pastry. He served as the executive pastry chef at the legendary Le Cirque in New York City before opening his own chocolate factory and retail shop in 2000. He was inducted into the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America in 2003. @jacquestorres
