About Marcel Desaulniers

Marcel Desaulniers is the owner of MAD about Chocolate, a cafe specializing in chocolate desserts, in Williamsburg, VA. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he received the 1999 James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef in America. Desaulniers’ love of chocolate has earned him the nickname “Guru of Ganache” and has inspired him to write nearly a dozen cookbooks, including Desserts to Die For and Death by Chocolate. @mad-about-chocolate
