Morgan Murphy

Morgan Murphy is the author of nearly half a dozen cookbooks, including his most recent title, Southern Living Bourbon & Bacon. He has appeared on the Travel Channel, CNN, The Today Show, Fox & Friends, Sirius/XM, and NPR, as well as contributed to Vanity Fair, Forbes, Esquire, The New York Post, and Southern Living. The Alabama native and James Beard Award nominee is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Birmingham-Southern College. He lives in Mountain Brook, AL. Based in Birmingham, AL, the editors of Southern Living have celebrated the best of life in the South since 1966. The magazine, originally created to share the beauty and culture of the South, explores Southern food, gardens, home design, and travel.
