About Pierre Koffmann

Pierre Koffmann

Pierre Koffmann is the chef and owner of Koffmann’s at London’s Berkeley Hotel. A French native, he learned to cook from his grandmother Camille during his childhood in rural Gascony. In 1970, he crossed the channel on a whim to watch France play England at rugby and ended up staying to cook. Seven years later, Koffmann opened his first restaurant, La Tante Claire, which was awarded three Michelin stars. Memories of Gascony is his first cookbook. @pierre.koffmann
