Romney Steele

Romney Steele is a cook, writer, visual artist, and food stylist living in Oakland, CA. She’s also the granddaughter of Bill and Lolly Fassett, the founders of Nepenthe restaurant in Big Sur. She grew up at the family business, and in 1992, opened Cafe Kevah on an outdoor terrace below Nepenthe. Steele is the author of the cookbook-memoirs My Nepenthe and Plum Gorgeous. @romneysteele
