Joanna Burnett, Recipe Tester

A list of all the recipes Joanna Burnett has tested.

Joanna Burnett

Joanna cultivated a love of cooking as a child alongside her grandmother. Curiosity led to experimentation and exploration of new foods, flavors, and recipes. Following new foods and flavor combinations and knowing successful pairings is one part of the journey to a new recipe. Among friends and family, she is well known as the Biscotti Queen, and frequently shares her delicious creations to an often demanding crowd.

Joanna participates in several local supper clubs and this brings her great satisfaction and joy. Her enthusiasm for the monthly theme and her attention to detail mean many wonderful hours spent researching ingredients and recipes. This process allows Joanna to showcase a delicious and visually beautiful dish.

As a culinary assistant, a recipe demonstration assistant, assisting with food photography, and private chef duties, she has been able to explore the great diversity that food research and preparation provides. She is especially proud to be a volunteer baker for For Goodness Cakes in which volunteers make and hand-deliver birthday & graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth facing adversity on their special day.

If you dropped by Joanna’s house, you just might find her experimenting and creating a new dish while indulging in her love of true crime TV on the Investigation Discovery Channel.
