Cathal Armstrong is the chef and owner of seven restaurants in Washington, D.C. He’s been named a James Beard Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic nominee and one of Food & Wine’s “10 Best New Chefs 2006.” He’s also been honored by the White House as a “Champion of Change” for his work on ending childhood obesity and improving the school lunch system. David Hagedorn was a chef and restaurateur for 25 years before becoming a food writer, chiefly for the Washington Post. He’s also the co-author of The New Jewish Table.
