Francis Garcia | Sal Basille

Francis Garcia and Sal Basille started working in the restaurant business at a young age at their family’s restaurant, Basille’s, in Staten Island. They opened Artichoke Basille’s in New York’s East Village in 2008 and quickly received glowing reviews in the New York Times, New York Post, and New York Magazine. They’ve since expanded Artichoke to six locations in New York City and Berkeley, CA. They’re also the hosts of the Cooking Channel’s Pizza Masters and the authors of Staten Italy.
