Nevada Berg was born in Utah but moved to Numedal, Norway where she lives with her Norwegian husband and son. Her blog, North Wild Kitchen, was awarded 2016 Blog of the Year and Editor’s Choice Best New Voice by Saveur magazine. Her articles and recipes have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Norwegian American, and other print and online media.
