About Staub | Amanda Frederickson

The grandson of a cookware merchant, Francis Staub designed his first enameled pot in an old artillery factory in 1974, merging cast iron’s utility with the latest technology available. Today, the success of these designs has become the benchmark for enameled cast-iron cookware and is the preferred brand for some of the world’s great chefs. Amanda Frederickson is a professional cook and food stylist. After culinary school, Amanda worked in catering companies, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and in the Williams-Sonoma Test Kitchen. @amandafrederickson

Mini Staub skillets filed with kale shakshuka--eggs, kale, and spices

Kale Shakshuka

This is definitely not your classic shakshuka. But with its lilt of lemon, its hearty braised greens, and it sprinkling of za’atar, it’s not something we’d kick out of bed.

Four small crocks of pumpkin pots de creme--pumpkin pudding topped with crumbled cookie and whipped cream

Pumpkin Pots de Crème

These fancy-sounding desserts are essentially creamy custards that come together with very little time or effort from half-and-half, brown sugar, pumpkin, eggs, and warm spices. So good you’re gonna want them year round.
