Dana Pettit

Dana became an exuberant home cook roughly 20 years ago, after several years of being a single, working mom and lamenting the Sisyphean task of nightly dinner prep.  However, she recalled growing up, standing on a stool next to her mother in the kitchen, and learning of the magic there!  To this day, she’s still enchanted by that moment when the liquid in a pot on the stove miraculously converts to lemon curd for a lemon meringue pie and when slimy egg whites become that thick, velvety meringue.  Having recalled that magic and applying skills she learned in art school, she dove in, no looking back, and now the kitchen is her creative, happy space, where she is honored to show care to friends and family by sharing her food.
