Pamela Kemp is a full-time IT Project manager, accomplished home cook, and self-proclaimed “foodie,” who has studied worldwide under famous chefs as well as talented home cooks. She has taught cooking classes at a local community college and shared her skills during charity events. She is a trained judge for the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) and the World Food Championships (WFC).
She started cooking with her grandmothers at an early age, learning family recipes. Her inspiration came from many sources, including Julia Child, whom her Hot Pink charcoal grill is named after.
In 2021, she entered ‘food sport’ by competing in a local SCA event as well as qualifying to compete in the 2021 World Food Championship in Dallas. She has also earned acclaim among her family and friends for her candy, cookie, and pastry creations. Her culinary accomplishments include winning ribbons in multiple county fairs, including Grand Champion ribbons.
Pam grew up in Illinois, USA, and is a lifelong resident there. She is also an avid gardener, floral designer, paper crafter, and cookbook collector.
