Jonathan Gold

Jonathan Gold is the world’s first Pulitzer prize-winning food critic. He was restaurant critic for Gourmet Magazine from 1999 to 2001 but gained renown for his reviews in LA Weekly, in which he covered relatively unknown ethnic eateries. He currently writes for the LA Times and is a regular guest on KCRW’s Good Food with Evan Kleiman. He is married to Laurie Ochoa and has two children.
