Da-Hae West and Gareth West are the wife-and-husband founders of Busan BBQ in London and the authors of K-Food: Korean Home Cooking and Street Food. Da-Hae, who was born in Korea and raised in England, grew up on her mother’s Korean cooking, which relied on McGyvering together substitutions for authentic Korean cooking.
