Damon Lee Fowler

Damon Lee Fowler is a food writer, cooking teacher, culinary historian, and food writer. Fowler grew up in upstate South Carolina and studied architecture at Clemson University. He practiced architecture for more than a decade before he began food writing, particularly about Southern Cuisine.  Fowler’s book, Classical Southern Cooking , was nominated for two Julia Child cookbook awards and a James Beard Foundation award. @damonleeis
