About Kathleen King

Kathleen King began selling her home-baked cookies at her father’s North Sea Farms farm stand when she was 11. A decade later, she was the owner of Tate’s Bake Shop in Southampton, New York, voted the Best Bakery in the Hamptons on numerous occasions. (And she recently launched a gluten-free version of Tate’s wildly popular chocolate chip cookie.) She’s the author of the recently released Tate’s Bake Shop: Baking for Friends. @tatesbakeshop

Nine chocolate thumbprint cookies and a chocolate covered spoon on a round wooden board.

Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

Subtly sweet and slightly crumbly, these chocolate cookies are indulgent through and through yet in a sorta sophisticated way. Tasting is understanding.

A single white chocolate cupcake, topped with white frosting on a paper napkin.

White Chocolate Cupcakes

Fine-crumbed and sparely sweet, these sophisticated little cakes do wonders for white chocolate’s tarnished reputation. Confection perfection.
