Laurie Colwin

Laurie Colwin was primarily a writer of fiction–five novels and three collections of short stories–although she also wrote with gusto about home cooking. She is perhaps best known for her collections of essays on food, Home Cooking and More Home Cooking. Her work first appeared in The New Yorker, after which she became a regular contributor to Gourmet, Mademoiselle, Allure, and Playboy. @lauriecolwin
