Leah LeMoine

Leah LeMoine is managing editor of PHOENIX magazine, where she often gets to write about chefs and restaurants, and a recipe developer for its sister publication, Phoenix Home & Garden. At home, she loves reading cookbooks and food magazines, books, and blogs (including Leite’s Culinaria, which she adored and cooked from for years before becoming a recipe tester in 2022) and watching food TV.

Cooking is her love language and her therapy, a tactile and delicious way to decompress from the mess of life. A recovering picky eater, she’s been cooking since she was a preteen but is newer to baking – while everyone else was obsessing over sourdough during quarantine, she was working on her biscuit game. A few of her favorite therapy recipes include Spicy Hot Fudge Pudding Cake, Parmesan Potato Gratin, Chicken with Mustard, Pain de Mie, Corned Beef Hash, or Cream Scones. She lives in Phoenix with her partner, Matt, and their dogs, Nigel and Ludwig.
