Allison Kave is the founder of the made-to-order First Prize Pies pie shop on New York City’s Lower East Side. She’s also the author of a cookbook by the same name, First Prize Pies. Kave has taught pie making at the French Culinary Institute and the James Beard Institute. @allison_kave
